MATC ReStart Application - Summer 2026
Thank you for your interest in the MATC ReStart program and taking the first step in transforming your life!

This program will provide students who meet specific criteria a scholarship of up to $1,500 ($500 max per semester) over three semesters or upon graduation to pay existing MATC student account balance (past due debt).

To be eligible for MATC Restart, a student must:

1. Have not attended MATC any of the following semesters: Spring 2026, Fall 2025, Summer 2025 (ie your last attendance at MATC must have been the Spring 2025 semester or earlier)

2. Have earned at least 6 college level credits at MATC already

3. Have not earned an associate's degree or higher already

4. Have a past-due balance owed to the college of $1,500 or less from pre-Spring 2025 (note: if you meet all other criteria EXCEPT your balance is over $1,500 -- you could still potentially qualify!)

To start in Summer 2026, apply by May 17, 2026.

If you are accepted for MATC Restart and enroll for Summer 2026, how will you be paying for your tuition?*

I will be using financial aid.I will be setting up a payment plan / paying in full out of pocket.I qualify for a scholarship that does cover my tuition (3rd party sponsorship, Promise, Checota, Froedtert, etc).I have not figured out yet how I will pay for my classes, but understand that Restart does not cover my tuition.

1. My last attendance at MATC was between December 2007 and May 2025.
2. I understand that my outstanding balance with MATC must be less than $1500.01.
3. I understand that I must not have already obtained an associate degree or higher.
4. I understand that I must meet all of the current admissions requirements for MATC and my desired program.
6. I understand that this scholarship only covers prior outstanding debt with MATC up to $500 per semester for three semesters if I am eligible and meet all criteria.
7. I understand that this scholarship does not cover tuition, fees and books for current or future terms. I am responsible for any current or future charges (i.e., through financial aid, a payment plan, or other methods).
8. I understand that to continue in the program I must: enroll in at least six college-level credits per semester, earn a GPA of 2.0 or higher each semester, complete at least 67% of credits in each semester, and attend the mandatory orientation.
9. Upon successful completion of all the above requirements MATC will award a scholarship in the amount of the qualifying outstanding balance. This award (up to $500 per term) will not be awarded until AFTER the semester when final grades are in and there is a $0 balance for the current term.
10. If I do not successfully complete all of the above requirements, the outstanding balance will remain owed to the institution.
11. Understanding all of the above requirements of the ReStart program, I agree to "Opt-In" to the program if I am eligible.
