Please read all information below regarding the deadlines & criteria for MATC's Promise for Adults Scholarship Program:
To start spring 2026, complete the following by December 12, 2025:
1. MATC Promise for Adults Interest Application (this form)
2. MATC Application:

>Returning to MATC after a year or more away? Please complete the application for readmission: Readmission Application
3. 2025-26 Financial Aid Application: fafsa.gov
4. Submit Supplemental Items to MATC Admissions (Questions? Email apply@matc.edu)
>Official College Transcripts (required only if you have not earned at least 6 college level credits at MATC)
5. Register for 9+ college-level credits towards your Promise-eligible program
To be eligible for the MATC Adult Promise Program, a student must meet all of the following criteria:
1. Have already earned at least 6 college-level credits
2. Have not been enrolled in college since December 31, 2024 (ie any enrollment Spring 2025, Summer 2025 or Fall 2025 will make an applicant ineligible)
3. Live in a low-income household (Below 200% of federal poverty level)
4. Be enrolled in at least 9+ college-level credits towards an eligible program as of the December 12 deadline
5. Have not already earned an associate's degree or higher from any college or university
6. Be 24 or older as of 12/31/2025
