  • Thank you for your interest in the MATC Promise for Adults and taking the first step in transforming your life!

     

    To start in Fall 2025, complete the following by August 1, 2025:

    1. MATC Promise for Adults Application (this form)

    2. MATC Application:

    >New to MATC? Apply to the college here

    >Returning to MATC after a year or more away? Please complete the application for readmission here.

    3. 2025-26 Financial Aid Application at fafsa.gov

    >Please note: Financial Aid eligibility is not required for this scholarship, however all applicants must complete a FAFSA.

    4. Submit supplemental items to MATC Admissions

    • Official High School Transcripts (required only if you are new to MATC)
    • Official College Transcripts (required only if you have not earned at least 6 college-level credits at MATC -- the requirement for Promise)

    Important updates:

    • Promise scholars must register for 9+ college-level credits each term
    • Promise funding lasts up to 4 semesters if a student is in an technical diploma program or 7 semesters if a student is in an associates degree program.  
    • Promise funding is last-dollar for tuition only. We cover tuition charges after all other grants & scholarships are applied. Promise funding does not cover books or supplies and never yields a refund.
    • Promise scholars must attend a mandatory orientation prior to beginning with the scholarship.
